After losing the ODI series against Australia, India started great in the T20 series by winning the first T20 match by 37 runs against Australia played at Adelaid Oval. India made 188 runs and gave Australia 189 runs to win but Australia could manage 151 runs in 19.3 overs.

Rohit Sharma was looking good. He played some cool strokes while made 31 in just 20 balls. But it was again Virat Kohli's day. Virat is in great form and scoring in every format of the game. Virat made 90* runs in just 55 balls. Virat smashed 9 fours and 2 sixes during this inning. Suresh Raina also contributed 41 runs in 34 balls. India put 188 runs on score board to win Australia this match.

No disappointment from bowling side today

Poor bowling has made India lose the ODI series, but in the first T20 match indian bowlers managed it by good bowling performance. Bumrah got 3 wickets on the debue match. Ashvin, Jadeja and Pandya also took 2-2 wickets to keep victory out of reach of Australia.

India is now leading the 3 match series by 1-0.
