GPSC Class 1-2 Recruitment 2018 : The Government of Gujarat has confirmed the recruitment process for class 1 and 2 for the year 2018. GPSC (Gujarat Public Service Commission) has declared the posting of 294 important places for class 1 and class 2 like Deputy Collecter, Dy.S.P, Taluka Development Officer and many other important places.

Educational Qualifications : The candidate must have Bachelor's Degree with government recognized university.

Age Limit : Applicant must be aged between 20 to 35 years. ( Age relaxation will be applied as govermentt rules )

Salary and Pay Scale for Class 1: Pay matrix level 10 : 56,100 to 1,77,500 with other allowances according to 7th pay commission.

Salary and Pay Scale for Class 2: Pay matrix level 8 : 44,900 to 1,42,400 with other allowances according to 7th pay commission.

Application Fee : Candidates have to pay 100 rs as an application fee through online or in post office.

Selection Process : Selection for the post of Class 1 and class 2 jobs will be based on 2 steps of examination. Prelims and mains.

1. First will be Preliminary examination. Prelim exam will be objective type.
2. Main Exam will be written exam and personal interview.
