Padma Awards 2017 Declared

Government of India has declared the Padma Shri Awards for the year 2017 today. Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, Singer Kailash Kher, Olympic medal winner Sakshi Malik, Sanjeev Kapoor got the Padma Shri award for the year 2017.

According to celection committee, this year 120 people going to receive the Padma Awards. Padma Awards series contains Padma Shri Awards, Padma Bhushan Awards and Padma Vibhushana Awards. Government official declared that this time 50% of the winner will be less known faces.
